After my daily quick pull this morning I had about 25 icons just pop up in my menu screen. Here's a few examples:

    MobiTv
    Music Videos
    Make-Ur-Tunes
    Get Mobile Banking
    Brain Challenge Vol. 2
    Scrabble
    Tetris
    Pac Man
    XM Radio x 2 icons
    Music ID
    My-Cast Weather

And here's some that I deleted months ago and just popped back up:

    Yellowpages.com
    Get AT&T Navigator
    AT&T Mall

I haven't done anything OS wise in about 3 weeks so I have no idea where these things came from. I have been using the same theme for 2 months now, so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Sounds like they are being pushed from T-Mobile. Your best bet is to just hide them. Even if you delete them, they will reappear when service books are pushed.

How did you get T-Mobile pushing icons to an AT&T customer?

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Best advice - Just hide them. Thanks for absolutely nothing, AT&T!

It makes no sense to me that when you "hide" an icon all it does is reduce the icons transparency. If I can still se it, then it's not really hidden now is it. I want the icons to disappear completely. This is my phone. I paid for it outright, fair and square. AT&T has no right to make me keep this crap on my phone.

Press menu and take the check off of Show All.

What I do is create a folder called trash. Move all the icons into it
    and then hide the folder..

One thing to keep in mind is these are hidden for your current
theme only. If you change themes you have to do it all over.

The carrier has all the right to push service books like that to our phones.

Excuse I read the wrong BB. All carriers push. They do have the right. You are using their network and their bandwidth. This is nothing new.

You can remove them by locating and deleting the relevant service books but the will appear again. Best thing to do is hide the icons.
