Mmmm, you might find a shop that would do this. Now, this is just my opinion, but.....

No matter waht the warranty gets voided, and it's pretty easy to install custom parts.
Save the money and do it yourself.

Finda booth that sells the LED lights and colored cases for all phones. They should be able to do it but I would not trust a stranger with my phone

Check out some assembly videos on YouTube, they look intimidating but are actually quite simple. I've taken apart both my Bold and 8900 at least five times each with no problems. Just take your time and don't force anything. I too would not trust a stranger with my precious Bold haha

Also by having someone else/shop take apart a phone, I wouldn't be surprised if they tell you "we are not liable if anything happens to your phone after we take it apart and put it together" just to cover their butts if anything does happen.

All you need is the torx screwdriver, T5 I think. There is a plastic opening tool you could also buy but a credit card will do the same thing.

I agree. The vid makes disassembling the phone look so simple. I'll have to do it sooner or later.

After seeing this post I ordered a black bezel to try and do this my self. I later realized that the side buttons are not included. Is this a problem? could i use my side buttons? or do i have to order new ones?

I think they basically fall out once you have it apart.

    I'm curious as well.
Just ordered a bezel and green trackball from truesupplier (although I've read a couple bad reviews - also some good ones, so I'm taking a chance I guess). Will be my first time taking the phone apart at all...yikes. Hope it's as easy as everyone says.

edit: Also, the bezel from truesupplier comes with a "free screwdriver"...I'm hoping that's the T5 I need?
