i got a problem which has almost irritated me . i got my black berry bold 9900... now the problem id this when i connect my phone to a wifi connection. the web browser works with it . but not the applications or blackberry world. i cant receive or send whatsapp messages i cant use viber and none of the other apps.... now what should i do. please reply sooon

I think you have legacy device and that works with BIS

Whatsapp, Viber and BBW should work with WiFi on 9900. All these app connect very well on my 8900 on WiFi!

Go to your settings and look under network or something. I remember that when I used to use a Bold 9900, it used to give me the option to setup apps to use BIS or the Internet or a combination. Maybe you have selected to use only BIS & you did not subscribe to BIS. Just a guess anyway.
