So far, in the 2 days that I have made this thread, it has been referenced multiple times. What are the requirements of a sticky?
Something that is a must read or wildly popular. Check out the already existing stickies.

Problem with this thread is that 1) results and opinions are completely ambiguous in some situations and 2) a favorite OS this week could give way to a new one next week and will almost certainly be irrelevant by next month.

    .282 because of battery life
I went back to .266. The volume was significantly lower then any other build, which seemed to annoy me.

I've been running Vodaphone UK version of .282 and it has good volume! The battery is pretty amazing so far too!

I am not having any volume issues, and the battery life is great.

I was running the Rogers version, but nevertheless I was always happy with .266 and .247. So I'm happy either way.

Do people say .282 is better in terms of battery because it has the 2G switch?

I a new to BB. Historically, has AT&T been one of the last carriers to offer official OS upgrades on their site?

I had nothing but problems with my Bold. Reboots every few days. Then I upgraded to Rogers .282 and it has been great. One week now without a reboot and memory stable around 37 MB.

.247 for me fast, great battery life, and since my Bold is unbranded switching to 2G on it gives me days of battery =)

I had a .282 before. Battery life was.. very poor, I can only get one day worth of use and I don't even browse often on bold. Just Facebook, MSN and Viigo.

But reception was excellent, had no dropped calls, sounds on the phone was excellent too.

Although my bold did reboot itself once.

Though, the battery life has made me swapping to .266 recently. Seems like battery life's somewhat better now.

But will have to wait till I use .266 OS for longer time before I know it's really better or not.
.266 is super... Tried both versions of .282 and couldn't stand these things: awful RF retention in my office - Each time I wanted to view my pictures I thought my next birthday would come before the pictures showed up - reboot time was like watching paint dry

Liked .237, .247 was better and .266 is all I could want for in my Bold!
