What's the next OS most likely to get "officially" released??

I'm not too much in the know as to the all the so-called unreleased OS'es out for the Bold but am curious as to which one is most likely going to get officially released. But I would like to maybe download the one most people have had few problems with etc...

I know "official" means it's approved and that they don fix anything, I just dont want to brick mine or mess around too much.

I don't mind different carriers or anything, but what's the next OS most likely to get official? I was on .266 and am now on .282

Also, if anyone has any inkling, when is OS 5.0 going to get an "official" release?

I have heard AT&T is testing .287 but they will probably never ever release it.

For what carrier? Regardless, probably 4.6.0.297.

While I would prefer Rogers since that's what I'm on, I wouldnt mind if it was Vodafone, T-Mobile, ATT etc...

Though after this recent Etisalat thing, I'm going to hesitate trying out foreign carriers official OS releases.

is OS .297 built on a higher platfom than .235 which is what .282 uses.
