Hmmm... The more memory would be welcome as would the camera, but i'm not sold on trackpads. I haven't had any problems with the trackball so far and if it't not broke why fix it. The screen is the curve screen but is it also smaller than the bolds? I actually like the size of the Bold and found the curve too small.
I guess I'll have to wait till the concrete details are worked out but most likely from what I've been hearing I will skip the Onyx and wait it out with my Bold for the "next" big thing.
The track ball is cool but when used in dirty/dusty environments it really sucks, I have to pull my trackball and disassemble it, to clean it, at least once every two weeks to keep it in good working order because where I work on top of the dirt and dust I do a lot of grinding so the small metal paticals get stuck on the magnets. So IMO it is broken and needs to be replaced because I'm not going to spend $10 every two weeks let alone $120 to replace my phone!

what about full HTML???? The Bold is a fantastic device, but the lack of HTML sucks. I actually got an iPhone to allow me to have full HTML and now I use both phones.
Although I view my Bold as my go-to reliable phone and the iPhone as a toy, for entertainment.
As I'm still looking forward to some upcoming devices...It will take one **** of a handset to get me out of my 8900 and the .250 OS. this system is as stable as I've ever been. what kind of upgrades are needed to get me to change? that optical pad looks phenomenal though....
yeah but I hope it's bold like the Bold... not dainty like the jav. It looks closer to the jav than the Bold. I hope I'm wrong... I gave up my Jav for a Bold... like it better
I guess I'm one of a few who like the smaller size. I love the 8310 size. I'm very excited about the onyx. I probably wouldn't upgrade if it was as big as a bold.

the onyx should be an upgrade from the bold that includes, more memory (app and device), better battery, same form factor, better camera. the bold is a great device and these upgrades would make it greater...
It appears to be bold size, but in my opinion the Tour is tool small. I love my storm, but I think ill go back to the keyboard if Verizon offers one with a larger screen than the tour/curves.
