Is it possible to browse on wifi with another browser ?
( Opera mini for example )

Did you check if there was any conflicts on your router ?
Was the BB listed on DHCP client table ?

Is your BB's OS the latest if not update , if it is try re - installing .
( Always backup your info before )

options / device / advanced system settings / service book .

    check for :
    wifi tcp/ip browser (browser config)

this is what the browser needs to use wifi.

Since you say you have a bis plan, try resending your service books.

Go to your messages application. Press the menu key and select options. Navigate to email account management. From here if you press the menu key again you should see an option for service books. Select it and then resend your service books.

Make sure you do this over the mobile network because maybe you don't have connection over wifi and you want to make sure the service books get sent.

For me it works without bis but whatever, if that's what it takes to get yours working, so be it.

    It is all ok now,

I have the BB icon next to the wifi icon, and I have wifi internet access. the problem was on my router, an IP conflict address. thank you to all!!

I know that the problem is solved but as a point of interest just a few minutes ago I turned off my mobile network and turned on my WiFi. I am able to send and receive BBM's and can surf the net over WiFi only. The BB symbol disappears on the top line and moves down alongside the WiFi symbol!

    If you have BIS/BES activated...
and there is no mobile signal..
    use wifi...

other than that....BB OS7.x and lower devices has no significant use cases...
