I have not tried any themes besides the AT&T Precision theme. I like the wallpaper that I am using. I really could care less about the calendar, which I've noticed seems to be one of the components of many of the themes I've seen.

Do you know of any cool free themes that would allow me to use my wallpaper and do not include anything special for the calendar?

There are a lot of great theme builders on here. So, it depends on what"s your flavor. Any theme that is different/unique has my attention- including NinjaPlease, Tito71, BKBram, EThemes, and a lot of others that are putting out quality themes. These are just a few that come to mind.
