Yeah, I'm running the official 524 from vzw but it seems to be degrading on my device every day. I experience freezing issues every so often that weren't there in the beginning.
+1 that was my experience with 524, it was fine when I first installed it back in March. Who knows though, I installed apps and themes and betas, and any one of them or a combination thereof, could have hosed it.
Ive always loved using blackberries, that is until OS6.
For some reason, no matter how many times I try installing it, it always seems to just be slow.
What OS (and version) have you found works best for you?
Is OS7 available for the Bold?
OS7 is only gonna be available for the newer bb's. I downloaded the newest os from sprint today and i havent had any problems with it so far. i think i only had problems with one version of OS6 but i dont remember which one it was
.600 installed on mine. Installed it Wed night, and besides the 2 irritating errors on boot up with custom themes, and when just restarted when you try to hit the menu key the first time it gives you a blank screen, it seems pretty stable. The signal is steadier then .524 was in stores. I was going to downgrade tonight back to .524 but will stick with this for a while. The startup errors dont seem to effect anything else. Some say the browser is a bit faster, to me it is a bit slower loading but the rest of the OS seems a bit quicker.
I am running .600 now, was using the .524 leak, not happy with either, the .466 leak was the best OS I've used so far, had a great radio, which is funny because a lot of people complained about the radio. .524 had been nothing but problems for me, .600 won't run my vzw push to talk, so I am very close to going back to .466, or .466 with king v6 over top of it.
