I heard lots of goods like the 3G CDMA, touchscreen ...and alot more, which seems really interesting to me but i've also heard of alot of negative stuff about it. Especially the physical appearance such as the screen is as big, the keyboard is flat and to cramped together and over all unsexy.

comparing my BB Curve 8310 to the pic of the 9000, i think i'll stick with my curve..well maybe until i see what the new batch of the 9000 can do

If that's a "new" Blackberry, I think it's taking a step backwards in terms of styling.

can't comment on functionality though, as I haven't read up on it too much.

I have to agree. I like the styling of the Curve. The rounded edging doesn't appeal to me that much. I feel even the 8800 series has a little better styling. It also seems like it may be thicker than the Curve or 8800 series.

The features they are packing into it, now that rocks! I would love to see those features in a Curve casing.

From just the little I've seen here on CB and Engadget...

    Like...
-Styling, especially the aluminum frame. I like a hefty device
    -Added features: 3G & WiFi...that rocks!!
    -Looks like a nicer screen w/beter resolution...sweet!
-The fact that BB hasn't bowed it's knee to the Micro-USB charger port fad

    Dislike...
-The keypad. If the 88xx series wasn't the worst...this might do the trick.
-Still a smallish screen...there is enough room for another inch of screen
    - Color. Personal preference...should be all-black.

I really like the Curve...but will proably jump on this the minute it come out. Does anybody know if AT&T has exclusive rights yet?

To be honest, the UI is very nice.

The hardware design itself i find is very ugly.
I know i shouldnt rate a device completely on how it looks, but i like my BB's to be easy on the eyes ...

RIM is on the right track though... As always..

From just the looks.. Don't really like it.. I'd rather stick with my curve.
Don't like how the keyboard it.
Also don't like the size... Looks as big as the 88xx.

As far as what it can do though, I can't say yet.

I think RIM knows what they are doing. Good job RIM. 3g is going to own. BBM/Internet/JiveTalk while on the phone sounds great. Now for the outside, its not the Curve, but its not the 88xx. I think its a cross between the Curve and 88xx series. I am definitely going to purchase this bad boy.

At&t usually has the exclusives first being the largest provider of Blackberries. I can't wait for it.

I'm gonna hold out for the sprint curve. The new ones look nice, but I like the feel of the curve better.

Aren't we getting a little ahead of ourselves here? without knowing all the details and seeing the phone in person, should we be so quick to be saying RIM did a poor job on the 9000.

I don't like the design at all. Looks like the iphone a little bit. Ill like it better if they'll use the same chassis as the curve (coz it really looks and feels sexy) but ofcourse make it a little bit longer to accomodate the larger screen.

You know how many said this about the 88xx series and a lot of those people ended up liking it as I'm one of them :-) Not better than the curve, but it's good.
