How is the battery life of the 9930 compared to the Tour??
Seems pretty similar to be honest. Maybe slightly less batt performance, but nothing that concerns me...I also went down to 20% on the screen to help in this regard - same thing I did on my tour...I find it's still too bright, so I may try 10%.

The option of auto dimming the screen also helps a lot with battery performance just as it did with my Tour as well.

Left my Tour 9630...which I adored. The 9930 was the only phone I would have to replace the Tour!

I haven't replaced my Tour (or SNS) yet and really liked both devices. I'll be back in the States in January and will most likely upgrade to a 9930.

Droid Incredible<---- Hated it from day one. 9930 is great so far but miss a couple Apps that hopefully will be back soon. I came back for the solid email and messaging and cant believe how much I missed the combined messaging and email folders. If I had one gripe it would be that the browser is chunky. It doesnt re allign the font after I pinch to zoom if the site i am on even lets me pinch. Thats my only complaint.

Long story, but I had the Tour for a year when it came out (switch from Windows Mobile), had issues with trackball and screen of death: after three replacements it seem to work fine. Then I'd switch to Android, and nine months later switched back to my Tour because I'd missed the emails and most of all the security and battery life. Then last week my Tour's screen started to leak. I had considered the iP4 and Casio Commando, waited and read just last Saturday that the 9930 was coming to VZW on Monday. And now I'm happily typing away on my new Blackberry.

DROID. Micro USB lost contact on both my Original and 'like new' replacement. 2nd unit went bad a week outside of my 1 year warranty period. Fortunately never sold my 8330 Curve. While waiting out the new release of Droids or iPhones to apply my upgrade to, I realized how much I still liked the BB format and keys. 9930 release date fell into my lap perfectly. Will have my 9930 on Tuesday. Can't wait!

I'm still debating with myself about what to do - I'm on T-Mobile so when the 9900 comes out I will take a hard look at it. But I worry about the proposed merger and I wonder if this is the time to jump to Verizon or Sprint? I love the UMA and the international email that T-Mobile has, but am I going to lose them to the merger anyway?
