I just received a new Bold and everything is perfect
except the screen rippling. Is this an issue caused by
the screws being on too tight? Anyone find a fix for this yet?

the only time i get the ripple is when my fingers hit the screen accidentally. i guess it may be a thermal type thing. but to avoid it, you just have to stop hitting the screen...

It is caused by being an LCD screen. All LCD screens do it. It is nothing to be worried about, it is perfectly normal. The only way to prevent it is to, not touch it. Some phones have the screen covered with glass and they have less of an issue with it.

This subject has been done to death on this forum. Don't worry about it, relax and enjoy your phone.

    Cheers.

There's an easy fix! Don't touch the LCD screen
