    Hey folks

Purchased a brand new sealed Curve 9360 for very cheap price. Started using it as my first ever blackberry phone. Along with BIS service of course.

    My question is the following:
What will I get if I upgrade to 9900? In other word what are the advantages of 9900 over 9360?
P.S. An important note: Ti don't care for touchscreen on 9900, so while it does have it, it's not something I will use.
Keep it mind, my main phone is still
Iphone 6 at the moment for the camera, and blackberry is a backup phone with second SIM card, so it's not a phone that I use every single hour. Just thought I'd let you folks know

    And 1 quick question:

Do WhatsApp and Viber need BIS or can they work throught regular access points/WiFi
    Thank you in advance.

Honestly you're not really gaining anything for your intended use, except the Bold will lag less thanks to the faster processor and more RAM lol.

    Thank you for quick reply.
    Something I forgot to add:
Typing in 9360 is kind of hard. I am not sure if it's because I got used to touch screens, but chatting usif whatsapp and Viber is much more convenient on iPhone 6. I know it's not fair comparing $800 device to $40 device, but if we just focus on typing (something blackberry should excel at, regardless what it is going against), then 9360 is still uncomfortable. Is it better with 9900? Unfortunately both devices are not being sold anymore so I can't "try" it in store to see how it feels
    Typing.

The Bold 9900 is the best of the best of BlackBerry keyboards, knocks the socks off the chiclets on the 9360.

Typing on the Bold 9900 is fantastic. Very good keyboard.

I've actually just bought a bold 9900 to use as a journal because of the keyboard.
