So yesterday my bold 9790 was being charged by the pc through the cable. Accidentally, it fell and the went off. After i turned it on, it stopped charging and a notification on the pc appeared "windows can't recognize device". Some problems appeared later, headset input was damaged (I tried playing music through my headphones and speakers, didn't work), battery drains too fast (it went from 60% to 5% within 15 minutes), and sometimes the phone gets too hot (when charging or using it).

Can a drop cause all these problems? ( All the problems started after that drop )

Sorry to say, but that does sound like there was some hardware damage from the drop.

Try a battery pull. It's worth a shot. Reboot your pc.

I tired everything, didn't work.

But how does a hardware damage affect on the battery? It drains too fast
