    OK first don't kill me I've searched and searched for this and found nothing. I have an unlocked Bold 9930 that I want to use on AT&T. I know all about the limitations but that's not my problem. My problem is when I insert my Sim I get no service at all. I don't get edge, I can't make a call or receive a call, nothing. Can anyone advise? I would really appreciate it.

    Yeah. I don't think it's going to work. I'm Canadian, so I'm not the best authority on this, but here's how I understand the situation:

    2G: The 9930's 2G frequencies were AT&T compatible; however, AT&T is supposed to have completed shutting down its 2G network by now.

    3G: The 9930's 3G frequencies are not compatible with AT&T.
