nothing yet, what's up with that? I hope there is a BIG PUSH marketing Wise. Every Sunday the Big Red has a one page ad for 4GLTE in the LA TIMES. I hope to see one like that for the BB
It seems like Verizon is becoming less and less important for Blackberry launches. Before Sprint would get the new BB a month or two after Verizon, now Sprint is up to par with ATT. Verizon is nowhere to be found. What do you think?
It could be that Verizon is planning on releasing the 9930 next week as speculated so it would fall within their normal plan of not saying squat about a phone until they are ready to launch it, typically 24 hours in advance.
Plus if Sprint isn't getting the 9930 & 9950 until "Fall" then that would line up with Verizon getting it now and having a lock on it for a few months. Don't forget Verizon is still way bigger than Sprint and Verizon has the cash to lock in the early launches.
Finally the accidentally (on purpose) video that was posted was potentially early viral marketing or a complete blunder that Verizon will turn into early viral marketing (see we have been talking about, free publicity).
So a Bold 9930 will replace my Motorola Droid 3 and I can move forward with the corporate standard of blackberry. Will I miss Android, sure, but at the same time a BB will do all I need and as posted her on CB, we BB users consume data.
I seem to remember reading that on VZW there would be very short notice. That is, an announcement followed immediately by release. Anyone else remember that?
I sorta recall signing up to receive a notification email from RIM or vzw when the BB 9930 would be available. I hope vzw releases it soon! My BB submitted papers for disability...
