I just got off of the phone with a Verizon rep and she did confirm the $509.99 full retail price and said the price when using an upgrade is $249.99 with no mail in rebate. She was going to sell me one today until the computer showed that there weren't any currently in stock. For reference, I live in Michigan.

This is Verizon. What problems are you speaking of? I did order the Thunderbolt from them before and did not like it and I was allowed to return or exchange it in store so it is pretty legit.

Called. Can't sell today. Says low or no stock. I didn't ask for a date but he said "not sure if I should tell you this but it is showing available to order the 15th through telesales." In store the 25th.

When I had the Storm 9530 I had several quality issues and had to send the phone back through their phone customer support. They exchanged it pretty easily. I'd hate to lose this through a third party.

Just got off the phone with Telesales. The lady told me it will be at my house on Saturday. I asked her to check inventory and she said said there is a SKU number so she should have inventory. When I asked her again to check, she then said she is sorry but they do NOT have inventory. It won't ship till next week.... Sorry but we still have to hold out

Wow, Verizon made the 3G 9330 Curve $79.99 online after it was just $0.01 yesterday. I guess they did that because this is the only new BlackBerry that they have listed as of now.

I flat out offered to port over five lines from AT&T if they could get me the Bold 9930.

She was real nice and said they had a few calls about it. She wanted to triple check with the manager and put me on hold.

She came back and says it's there, they have it in stock, and it's in the system, but they aren't authorized to place an order "until next week"

I called and got a helpful rep. Tolde the same thing everyone is getting. They are not allowed to sell them until Monday. They will have online and telephone sales on Monday and in store on the 25th. Also told me 249 on contract with no rebates. 509 full retail

Spoke with 2 tele reps off the 866-745-4679 and have the same info from both:

Can order on the 15th and get overnight shipping to have 'in hand' Tuesday the 16th. Off contract $509.99. Contract price not listed for either. Can also get insurance for phone when ordering through the above # at 6.99/month for extended warrenty and theft/drop/etc protection (subject to $100 deductable).

SOOOOOOOO... call on the 15th, Christmas in Verizon town on the 16th!!!
