Just noticed, on my receipt, it says the battery is a 1400 mAh. On the 9900 it's a 1230 mAh.

it doesn't show as it knows you already have a data plan that will be used for the new phone, assuming you didn't add a new line...I got the same message.

I think this is what you are asking?
yeah...just confused me when it showed my new monthly charges as $45 less than usual...and couldn't confirm the BES anywhere...

In the specs on the VZW website it says 1230 mAh. You should def check when you get the phone, that's worth looking into

Okay so apparently its kinda glitched but not really and there is nothing you can do about it.

It costs $199.99 for the 2 year upgrade, although if you are using your NE2 to get $100 off, it takes it off the normal price of $249.99 making it $149.99 and realistically only giving you a discount of $50. The rep seems to think that the online exclusive price only accounts if you are using a normal 2 year upgrade, it does not apply if you are using your NE2. It kinda ****s over people out of $50 (well those of you who are using the primary line to upgrade) but not sure there is anything you can do about it. Does anyone understand this now?

And it also says that its the Bold 9650 in the text o n the receipt. Its just a typo error because the 1400 mAh is the same battery in my 9650. Verizon is dumb, but it is going to come with the 1230 mAh battery.. its just glitched. Don't worry about it unless they send ALL of us 9650's in the male lmfao

No. You can't use a CDMA phone on a GSM network, if you are in the US the other major CDMA carrier is Sprint

Am I the only one who got billed for 249.99?
$249 and NE2 made it $199. Pretty pissed about this cheaping people out of their NE2 by using the $249 price and not $199 if that is the case. I'm waiting on my live chat CS rep.

I appreciate this, I'm still waiting for my CS rep to get back to me on live chat. She seems to not understand my question. I'm going to be pretty pissed if this is really the case and she can't do anything for me. Totally getting ripped off, especially since my NE2 wasn't for $100 but $50.

i think the case is when you activate it, the site will make you add a data plan and i don't think you can add unlimited data anymore its now tiered pricing if you look at their available data plans
I was told specifically as long you keep a smartphone on the line of service you will always keep the Unlimited Data.

    This is what I said:

You: Hi, I just ordered the Blackberry Bold 9930 on my primary number which should reflect a NE2 $50 credit. The phone came up as $249 and with the discount $199 for renewal. However, on my secondary lines, the contract renewal price came up as $199 and not $249.

You: My main concern is that I get the NE2 $50 credit for my primary line.

You: My problem was that the NE2 was applied on a $249 contract renewal price for the phone, but now the website is coming up with $199 as the contract renewal price, without NE2 on my secondary lines.

You: I wanted to know what was going on with the sudden price drop as I no longer see $249 reflected as the 2 year contract price, but $199. If $199 is the renewal price, I would like my NE2 to reflect on that price point.

Ashlee M.: The Blackberry 9930 is currently available for $249.99. However, the Blackberry 9550 would be available for $199.99. Is that the price you are referring to?

You: No, on my account as a contract renewal price, the 9930 is coming up as $199 before any NE2 discount, I checked on one of my secondary lines. I was wondering why when I ordered the phone it came up as $249 before NE2. And if it is $199 on my other lines for renewal, if I can adjust the price I was charged for my primary line. Because if I wasn't going to be given my $50 NE2 on the right price point, I wouldn't have ordered the phone.

    Ashlee M.: One second please.

Ashlee M.: Thank you for waiting. I am also seeing the problem that you have mentioned. Unfortunately, I am not sure of why that phone is listed for $199.99 with your current lines and was a different price with your other line. I would recommend that you call Customer Care at 1-800-922-0204. Their hours are from 6am to 11pm any day. I would recommend that you not upgrade any lines until you have called to have that problem fixed.

Any unlocking web site will work or call Verizon and have them give you unlock code (if you are a customer with no past due on the bill).

Hmmm, not sure how/why anyone sees it initially at $199. I transferred the upgrade from my primary line (had $50 NE2). Came up $249 - 50 = $199.

After finishing the order, tried it up to finishing the transaction on a secondary line eligible for upgrade and it showed $249.

I have a second account that the primary has an upgrade available, but no NE2 and it also showed $249.

I will call and question why some people I "know" got it for $199 w/o a NE2, but I don't want to do that until it's in my hand, lol! I just don't trust that something will get screwed up with the order if I let anyone touch it right now! Hopefully get a credit later if it is an error, but not worth them inadvertently cancelling my order!

    FYI for those out West.

In California, sales tax is calculated on the full retail price of the device, not the discounted price you pay. In Massachusetts and Nevada, sales tax is calculated on the inventory cost of the device.

*The sales tax charged on your device was based on $509.99.
