I think all the extra fluff we're seeing, such as the mobile hotspot and the information for the Bold 9650 is because VZW didn't update their page. They just put up enough information for people to order the device and that's about it.

The strange thing is that I am eligible for an upgrade, but do not have a NE2 Credit until March... hmm..

I just purchased mine on a secondary line, 2 yr contract, $199....not using a ne2. I'm one happy guy right now.
