    I know the Sprint 9650 comes UNLOCKED out of the box, does anyone know if the Verizon 9650 will be UNLOCKED out of the box also?

    I just called Verizon and they gave me the unlock code for Storm 2. Really easy!

    I think it will be, as it is actually in the phone's software..
    I dont know how much vzw will tinker with the software, but my guess is Yes

    The VZW 9650 doesn't come unlocked by default.
    I just called global support and successfully unlocked my phone.

    I didn't know the sprint bold came unlocked. So I can put an ATT sim card in RIGHT NOW and use ATT?

    On the Sprint version you should be able to dump a ATT sim in it and it should work right then.
