    I have had my 9900 for well over 1-year ....... never a problem.

    Today I received an email from Blackberry:
    "Your BlackBerry device cannot acess xxxxxxxxx@xxx.xxx . The password may may have changed ........... You must validate account. "

    The "VALIDATE" button was included with a link into the email setup.

    So I try to validate (basically just inputting the password) and it rejects ..... everytime.
    The email account shows: "Invalid Account, Please validate".

    I just logged into email online ...... I have 7 new emails which have not hit my phone.

    I know my password is correct, I just used it to login online. Everything appears fine online.

    Problem is my phone will not access the account all of sudden for no apparent reason.

    Any ideas what is causing this ??? I have no clue what is causing or how to fix since the "validate" will not work.

    Ive has issues with my emails accounts today... everything from emails and service books not appearing to problems with registering my email accounts. Also get sim card not detected and bbid problems all day. I wonder if there are issues with BlackBerry servers

    I've had something similar happen to me too, first my yahoo email was suddenly invalid (both the Z10 & my 9900) so I resent the service books which did nothing for my bold - I've tried deleting and re-adding my email but it's just not working on either phone.

    Still don't know the problem ... have tried several things short of a wipe and anOS upgrade.

    But ....... I think this will fix it. Going to pic up a Z10 after lunch. It's charging for me now. I hope that will fix the problem

    Fixed ....... got the Z10!!

    I now have all email. But ..... 9900 is still not downloading email and shows invalid account. Problem is definately somewhere within the 9900 OS or the email setup program, etc. I'm going the wipe and reload the OS for sale and not worry about it anymore.

    My issues were sim card related I tried it in 9700 and still the same issues. Replaced the sim and everything is fine

    Same issue just appeared here on Voda UK with my BT Internet account.

    Exactly same symptoms as the OP

    Has anyone any solutions ???

    NB G Mail seems to be unaffected

    My problem popped up again. Mostly with my Gmail account but only on my 9900. I uninstalled and reinstalled Gmail. I also switched from pop to imap to see if anything was causing the issue there.

    I had to stop trying at home and go to work.

    An hour later I tried again and the issue was gone !!!

    Maybe it was something to do with my ISP and not BB related ??

    Who knows, happy days, all up and running.

    Will monitor this thread though.

    Mmm bizarre I wonder what triggers this issue. I read somewhere it maybe something to do with radio strength and somewhere else could be a pop account issue when using multiple devices.
