if anyone knows how to hide videos on the bold 9700, will you please try and help me with this. ps. its nothing dirty, its just so if my phone gets stolen, no one will be viewing my videos, etc.
thankyou
Even if you hid anything, they would still be able to pop the card in a reader and play the files.
You should be able to exclude folders in the media options. But the files are still there and can be opened with the file explorer and with a card reader and a computer.
You can create a new folder. Move your video folder into the new folder and set it to hide. If someone chooses the show all option though they might find it. I create a lot of subfolders on my phone and then hide them. Takes more time for someone unwanted to find anything that's hidden.

Encrypt your files and pw protect your device. Done.
If you enable security with a password they should not be able to open anything. If you want another option Empower allows you to password protect specific folders and applications.
