This is a great little thread. I never new that you could view the uptime on the blackberry using the ALT + Shift + H keys!

The best thing about this thread it it dispels a few myths...

You don't have to do battery pulls as regular maintenance.
You don't have to have the latest OS to have a great performing phone.

    I concur.

I had to uninstall some apps so it's time for a restart but here we are before the restart.:

    62 hours 41 mins.
    Lowest mem ever! 2.1MB

The most for mine was 9 days and I had to reboot cuz I had installed apps pending. The phone was stabile at 10 mb of RAM.

The OS question is an interesting one for me, as I am hanging out with .216 and no desire to change that - maybe until 5.0 gets up to speed and official. I feel like .216 is a very good OS for battery and memory and general maintenance.

Anyway - uptime is 456271 secs and memory - with a million emails I am too lazy to delete right now - is 41.8 MB.

104 hrs, strangely memory dropped to 20 and has been hanging there. Phone still works fine.

Totally agree for the most part. But I had to reset daily on the out of box. With the 247 I'm not worrying about it. I'm not saying upgrade for the sake of it but sometimes it's needed.

Since last battery pull (had an error earlier this week due to uninstalling of a program), probably would have been 2 weeks.

I actually installed an app right before I looked at this thread again. So I had to do a reboot.

I thought maybe the title of this thread produced a conditioned response that made you salivate at the mental image of holding your battery in your hand. Pavlov's Pull.

I was thinking today that adding an app (and then probably deleting the same app) will lead to my next pull. Not coming across apps that interest me though.
