I can't seem to get the uptime figures. I press the cntrl+alt+H - nothing. Just keeps going to contacts. Do I have to go to a particular screen first? I'm using the Bold 9000. Thanks
Well my dad wins. He has an 8820 that has been on and NEVER restarted in over 10 months. Sorry cant take a pic as its a corporate device.
Please don't take this as a flame. I really do love my Bold, but this quote illustrates something that I've had a really hard time accepting. WHY do we Bold users think that battery pulls and uptimes of less than several months are normal?! I really don't get it. What happened to expecting a stable device that does what it should? My biggest mistake after buying the Bold? Buying an OtterBox for it. That was before I knew that battery pulls were expected. Pulling that bastage of a case off the phone, pulling the battery and spending 20 minutes putting the case back on is NOT my idea of fun.
My time: 71,915 Sec.
Which should be a tip right there. RIM measures the uptime in seconds? What is wrong with them?
Ok, I'm sorry. My rant is over. I do really love my Bold, I just HATE that battery pulls are a cost of ownership

Lots of people don't do battery pulls, including me. Only after deleting an app and being prompted to. There is no cost to me. My phone doesn't require it in any way.
Pushing my record here - month+ uptime is pretty standard for me and my bold considering I don't feel the urge to upgrade my OS every week. Not gonna fix something that's not broken for unsubstantiated minor improvements. Waiting for 5.0 with new BBM.
If you think the Bold isn't a stable device, you should consider that most people who contribute on these forums are obsessed with installing and running numerous different apps and upgrading their OS constantly.
I'd still consider myself a power user but I do not do the above - did enough of that for years on Windows Mobile before I decided I didn't need all the junk and it just destabilized the OS anyways.
