Uplink/Downlink freq and engineering screens

Hello,

I have a Bold from att and I've placed an updated OS that required the vendor.xml file to be removed.

I am trying to find a way to determine whether my area (Houston) has switched 3g to 850mhz. I read that this could be found on the engineering screen and I've read the instructions on how to get there. The codes I am generating don't seem to work as I can't get past the help screen.

But really all I want to do is check my 3g frequency.

Can anyone provide some assistance on this?
