hello, I have two blackberry phones. One is the curve (8310) and the other is the Bold (9000). I want to do an upgrade on my Bold. Can I take my sims card out of my Bold and insert it in my Curve and upgrade my Bold. This way I dont miss any phone calls. I dont have a land line where I live. Any advice or answers will be most helpful......Thanks Don

you don't need a sim card to upgrade the device.

Yes you can swap the SIM into the 8310 and get your calls and sms. If you login to BIS on your PC you can swap your emails to goto your Curve as well. I swap everything over to my old 8310 or 8110 every once and awhile.

Why do so many people call it a "SIMS" card? The word is SIM

Then I would remind you that the most accepted spelling of King Tut would be "Tutankhamun" And sim isn't really a word but an acronym" for Subscriber Identity Module ".
