So right now i have a blackberry curve 8320 and im planning to upgrade to either the 9780 or 9700, and im wondering is the battery life much better or the same as the 8320, because my 8320 lasts me for a couple days with just txting and some talk time?

9780 is a good choice to replace 83xx bb
Secondly, the stock OS6 may not give better battery performance but .480 OS software provides good battery life.
Typing........ You have adjust because of curve and bold have bit differet keypad styles.
But you will like it......
Remember don't fear the change of OS4.x

i love the new os. i have used it, but to be exact whats .480? is that os 6 but a different more stable and official release?

It's shorts for 6.0.0.480, the latest interaction of the BB 6 for the 9780.

The 97xx series are 3G enabled devices and 3G spends a bit more battery power than EDGE. I don't know how your carrier's 3G network is, so battery life sould be at least the same, thou you can always set it to stay on EDGE.

yeah ima be on t-mobile usa so i plan on leaving it on edge all day, is it possible to use and buy this phone with just unlimited texting, and phone calling?
