Sorry if this has been covered before, I tried a search but found nothing conclusive.
I'm a Mac user in a little bit of a predicament. I have a BBBold and want to update to the latest OS. Obviously my only real choice (without access to a PC) is to go OTA, which is fine by me. My question is, will my personal data (contacts, sms and email, memos etc.) remain? Should I see about backing up? And if so, what should I use on my Mac?
You don't need to do it OTA. Download some virtual software to run XP within Mac. Search the Bold forum for Mac and you will find a lot of ways around it.
