I have ordered a bold 9900 which is a Verizon Gsm unlocked, but cdmi locked
Will the device work on 2g here in israel? Or only 3g?
Can it be unlocked for 2g?

According to that, you should get 3G and/or 2G.

I know my users that travel to the Middle East usually get 3G in most areas, with sometimes 2G. You should be able to select 3G or 2G on the device

Although some carriers here in israel are working only on 3g, there are many places without a good signal. Like in the big office buildings or in an underground parking lot

Update- my phone was working great but suddenly there is no network and it only appears as "sos"

Any help?

More to it... just got a signal for couple of minutes and it went back to sos
I think it's a device malfunction
