If I unlock my ATT Bold, will Blackberry Maps work as a stand alone product?

Unlocking your device has nothing to do with Blackberry Maps. It's your OS you need to change.

It's not even your OS, it's AT&T. For now they have it blocked via the service books. No workaround at this time.

As bt224 said, regardless of what OS or brand of device you're running, if it's on AT&T's network, then I think it's disabled by the service books.

That's strange because my friend is on AT&T with his Bold and says he has Google Maps. I'll have to confirm with him

Just as a matter of passing interest, why would AT&T block?

Google Maps works, BB Maps does not.

I think it's blocked so you will use AT&T's nav program for $9/month.
