searched the forums for this one but it looks to be unique - anyone know what the attached icon means (not the mail one)? it has appeared over the past couple of weeks, sometimes with and sometimes without the red asterisk.

if u read the thread it said something about deleting in messages options

Open the message folder > menu > view folders.

I don't have an option for deleting the invites under message options

a thorough search of the messages folder found the invite which when deleted removed the icon...

"options" was the red herring, you have to find the individual invite item in the default message folder
