Unable to receive e-mail but 'able to send'

I have this major problem..

Yesterday I upgraded my OS to the 5.0.0.411.. (total wiped my device before installing)

Everything went okay, restored my phone with the back-up I made, after that my 4 mailboxes were restored and I received a mail that my Phone was registered again at BIS.

I was receiving mail immediately from my Gmail, Hotmail and mobileemail Vodafone account.. but I didn't received any e-mail from my xs4all account (this is my email account I have from my cableprovider at home)
So I checked my Mozilla on my laptop and received a couple of e-mails which I haven't received on my BB..
So I resend my service books to my BB and for all the mailboxes I received it..
I tried to SEND an e-mail with the xs4all email box, and turned out that that worked!!

So I am surprised and burious why I am not able to receive e-mails anymore on that emailaccount on my BB??

Hmmm wel raar dat je niets ontvangt op je bb. Het komt ook niet in je spam terecht? Mocht het daar in terecht komen dan zie je idd niets op je bb...

Bevalt die 411 een beetje? ik had het vorige week ook op mijn bb geinstalleerd, maar weer eraf gehaald. Elke keer als ik mijn browser gebruikte, ging mijn bb uit en toen weer aan, vreemd...

De .411 is erg stabiel en snel. Ik begon met 40MB werkgeheugen, na wat ge�nstalleerd te hebben heb ik nu na iedere reboot zo'n 30MB vrij wat na gebruik slinkt naar 23-20MB.

Wat je moet doen, is via het programma BBSAK eerst je BB volledig wissen (Wipe Device) tot je error 507 in een wit scherm krijgt. Dan ga je via BBSAK ook je OS installeren (Load OS).. vergeet natuurlijk niet eerst een back-up van je BB te maken via Desktop Manager.
Wat ik je aanraad is alvorens je de back-up maakt, alle ge�nstalleerde programma's te verwijderen zodat je alleen een back-up maakt van je messages, contacts, instellingen etc.
Als je je OS installeert, kijk dan goed wat je aanvinkt om te installeren, sommige dingen gebruik je niet..dus kan je weglaten..bespaart je MB's.

Ja ik had ook mijn bb via bbsak schoongemaakt, maar ik heb dm gebruikt om de os te installeren. Misschien moet ik het nog een keer proberen maar dan via jou manier.
Mag ik vragen welke dingen je hebt weggelaten?

Trouwens ik las net op het forum dat meer mensen problemen hebben met email te ontvangen. Ik heb het net geprobeerd met mijn emails (live, yahoo en aol) maar die komen allemaal aan. Zou het misschien bij xs4all liggen dan?

Nogmaals bedankt voor het advies.:)

BIS is down. I haven't rec'd any mail either and many others are reporting it as well.

Probably BIS was down, because I am receiving e-mails again in this particulary inbox..

But I was still receiving all the time e-mails from my other accounts like Hotmail and Gmail.. very stranggeee

Just got off the phone with AT&T for an hour with Blackberry support to only find out that no e-mails are working and RIM is working on it at the moment

Ah, I always knew CB was a better source of info than calling AT&T LOL

No e-mails here, either -they seemed to stop (for me, anyway) around midnight central time...

I was trying to figure out WTF was going on after I hadn't received any emails I know I should have received this a.m., and of course came here to see what was going on. No email for almost four hours now . . . how long does it take RIM to fix BIS?
