Does anyone know why tmobile has RIM disable or block, which ever term you prefer, this function on their devices? I know tmobile suppoirt s the service cause all their Nokia devices come with it installed and operational. My wife is deaf and we both prefer to use BlackBerry devices but we had to take hers back after the salesman at the store assured us it would work. We went home and plug her tty device into her phone and of course it didn't work. Its kiond of misleading cause if you pull up tmobiles website and pull up any of the BlackBerry devices and look at the specs they tell you that they are all tty compatible but don't tell you tmobile has RIM disable the function. Does anyone know how to get this function operational or know of a 3rd party app that would work. I have had no luck talking to RIM or tmobile about this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
