I'm trying to update the system in my 9930 with Verizon. I've got about 110MBs of free space. But when I hook my 9930 to the Blackberry Desktop Software and run the system update it says I need 25MBs of more space and the install process quits. I only have a few 3rd party apps and no videos or music and no saved emails on my 9930.

I would try doing a wipe and fresh install of your chosen OS. Should sort your issue.

How much free space does a system update require anyways? Why isn't 110MB enough?
