I'll try to be as quick as possible. This is where I stand:
- I set up a cygwin ssh server on my windows xp system via this guide.
- This computer is connected to my router (my local area network), and the computer is set with a static ip.
- I have the ssh port 22 routed to that static ip.
- None of this is connected to the internet.

- I have a blackberry bold 9700, with no data plan or internet connectivity whatsoever.
- The blackberry is connected to my router (LAN network) as well via wifi
- I have installed bbssh on the blackberry.
- I set up a new connection with the host set to the computer's ip, and the port set to 22.
- I set the username and password to the administrator account of my pc.
- The connection mode is wifi.

The only problem I am having is that when I go to connect, it says it's connecting, waits for a few moments, buzzes and reads "Notice: Timed out"

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I've already hit up google extensively and I haven't been able to solve my problem.
