Hi new to the forum and already I have a question


A friend of mine has just bought a blackberyy bold. He has a samsun jack i616 right now the phone numbers transferred but not the email address. Rogers tech support is basically useless and he really doesnt want to have to manually put in all the email address. Is there an easier way to do this?

email addresses? Yes that can be done. Load up the desktop manager, and you should be able to go to device switch wizard, and it might be able to do all the contact transfers. I haven't done it, but I have heard thats what you do.

I've heard that the device switch works only for WinMo, Palm, And BBOS though. Not sure what the OS on the Samsung is tho

that's the problem about using independent OS phones.... there's always some hassle & inconvenience during transition to a smarter phone.

but once the inconvenience is sorted out... u'd never look back at downgrading to a less smart phone
