Transfering data to a second Bold 9700, using BB Desktop

Hi there,
I'm happy to say I've just bought a second Bold 9700, and I was just wondering about data transfer, using BB Desktop. I'd like to follow these instructions : Switch to a new smartphone - User Guide - BlackBerry Desktop Software - 2.4

But before doing this, I have a couple of questions (I've never owned another BB smartphone prior to my first Bold 9700, so I'm definitely not a specialist) :

- once the data have been transferred, will they still appear on the first smartphone, or will the software have deleted them ?

- What about the apps licences ? For example, will I have to buy a new Bebuzz licence ?

- Eventually, is there anything important I should know or do before processing the transfer ?

Those instructions should be all you need to get you going.

You have the option of transferring over third party applications as well. I never had an issue when I xferred over anything, but always make a back up first. The licenses should transfer over as well, but not always. If an app doesn't work, and say, requires a password or a key, then usually a quick email to the developer will fix you right up. You will not have to buy another BeBuzz license.
