Hi, I got my Bold Blackberry wet today. I took off the battery and dried it, put it on back and restarted the phone, it was running normally then all of a sudden it went off. I looked it up on google and found out I shouldn't have restarted it but it was too late. I'm still trying though, (I'm soaking my blackberry in a bowl of rice.) 1.) is there still anything I can do to revive my blackberry? 2.) If I buy myself a new blackberry, can I transfer my old contacts from my broken blackberry?

    thanks in advance.

Do you have an existing backup file on your PC? If you can't start it up, you can't get the data off of it.

Backup file, Google Sync if you use Gmail, or BB Protect all can help you with this.

Unfortunately, I haven't back up my blackberry files and bbm contacts on my computer... is there any other way?

Google Sync or BB Protect, as mentioned above, could help. If you don't have a back up from any of those options, and you can't revive your old device, you're out of luck.
