    I have a Blackberry Bold 9930. The trackball is not working properly. If I am on the home screen, it will track within the screen , but does not allow me to scroll out of the screen to say change the ringer from "normal" to "silent". Also it won't allow me to scroll through certain lists. Can anyone tell me if it is broken or on wrong setting or ???

    Could be a hardware issue but I would try reloading the OS to see if that fixes it.

    Try a battery pull first.
    If its under warranty, send it for repair. Or use the touchscreen part of the device for that.
