i got my bb bold a week ago
last night my trackball light began blinking irregularly
next thing i know the trackball wouldnt work along with the all keys on the top row(not the keyboard)
the phone was still working fine besides that.
today the top row keys began slowly working again and i can make calls
the scrolling has gone back to normal but i still cant click/select anything with the trackball and it has stopped lighting up. All my other keys on the bold are illluminated besides the ball. Is there any way i can resolve this issue or should i exchange it?

In the short term, do a battery pull (take the battery out while the device is powered on). That may 'fix' it.

But I would still exchange it, there is no way that this should happen after one week.
