Hi everyone! Sorry to bother and ask a question I'm sure has been asked before.. but I just got the blackberry bold. While I already love it, I am extremely overwhelmed I have a million and one questions.. so I was hoping there's someone I can chat with here, or however someone can talk to me? Help me with some basic things, to say the least..

Okay, well, again, sorry to bother.. hopefully someone's available?

    Thanks!!!

Well, don't be otherwhelmed, we all had to start somewhere...

But, to be honest, most answers are already on CB. A search should recover them, and for those you can't find answers to, post away.

Welcome to CB and the bold!! When I first started way back when, this thread helped me out a lot. Don't get too overwhelmed and hang in there.

Just ask the questions and resolve the issues one at a time, one post at a time. You'll get clearer answers and help future users that are utilizing the search feature (hint, hint). We'll get you through it.

Check out the Blackberry 101 Lecture Series under the "Blackberry Help" tab at the top of the CB screen. Sooooo helpful to me when I was getting started. That, plus all the fine people in this forum.

Don't feel overwhelmed. If I could give you advice, just remember the "Menu" key (the one to the left of the trackball that looks like a cat's paw print) is your best friend. That key will give you access to the menu in just about every program, screen, etc. you could be at.

Arrange all the icons to your liking (using the menu key)

E-mail? Go to your carrier's website and (of course make sure you are subscribed to your carrier's blackberry internet plan) access their "BIS" blackberry internet service section. Then you can set up your email accounts to push e-mail directly to your handset. Personally I linked my gmail acct.

Been using BBs for a while (since the 8700) and i can't imagine using another device. once you go bb you dont go back. enjoy!

Work the site. The Blackberry Lecture series is a must read. I got my first BB in February...and found the answer to just about every "newbie" question I had, without having to start many threads.

Once you get a basic understanding, then come back and ask questions about what's not clear. But if you skip the lecture, you'll end up bouncing all over the place, and not getting a firm grasp of anything.

    Welcome!
