You would think that since the device is close to EU release but there are plenty of opinions to the contrary. Devices are constantly getting smailler, slimer and faster. Sometimes change is a good thing especialy if one gets hung up on aesthetics over functionality and speed.
First...I don't think that is too much branding...I think having "BlackBerry" at the top front, and the carrier logo at the bottom front is typical for all BlackBerries. On the back there is a large BlackBerry logo which I think looks amazing. The "Bold" branding on the back is stupid in my opinion though. Leave that out and I think the phone will do just fine.
i actually like the branding for some reason.....it kind of allows me to show off my new blackberry...haha
i could do without the big BOLD logo on the back but it's nothing to stop me from getting it!
lol.. ppl actually complaining about logos
Just work.... thats all I care about!
Something I never thought about, but I think I agree, and appreciate not seeing AT&T branded all over the iPhone, ANYWHERE.
maybe the pictures are of a early concept model and they just wanted to advertise all over the phone :D
I sure hope thats the case. I mean, When crackberry did the hands on onyx review, it looked gorgeous - it just needed a trackpad, thats it! Now they have changed colors, this and that and IMO there making it look worse. I hope that bold logo comes off.
I agree that the logo's are getting annoying, but think of cell phones as race cars.... The more stickers you got, the more sponsor advertising. Keep in mind that RIM sells the phones to mobile companies, not direct. The mobile companies, to increase their revenue, stick their logo's on the phone. Its just good business advertising.
