HI am thinking of buying a BB9700 I am on Tmobile I do not want a unlocked phone. so here is my question. I like being able to download all this free stuff and make it look how I want it to look, like I can with my 8100 pearl. should I get this phone or another phone? any sugestions?

if you like Blackberry, then this is the one to get. it sounds like you like all the multi-media aspects of the Berry, and none do it better than the 9700.

i totally love my 9700, its the best mobile device i have ever owned, it does everything better than the rest, each time i do something new, i usually end up impressed :P

pd: ok, browsing might not be THE best, but its enough, until the webkit browser drops, at least.

ps2: my cel history = motorola "brick" (the one before the startak and after the super brick) > some cdma old nokia > motorola c115 > samsung x486/7 > SE z710 > eten x500 > back to the SE z710 > iphone 2g > bb 9000 > bb 9550 (bad choice) > bb 9700

I just picked mine up today, and lemme tell you after switching over from a iPhone 2g, and 3g I dont know what Ive been doing all this time or wasting my time over. I just fell in love with this little device. Im glad I made the switch and your gonna love it too!

Just got my bold 9700 on Saturday. First blackberry phone I have had. I just changed it from my iphone.
Best phone I have had. I guess its true once you go black. You won't go back. Talking about the berry here.

Yea the 9700 has some great themes like the ones you like downloading. I like the 10 dock themes im trying to figure out the name of mine but i can't remember, but anyway the point is you will surely enjoy the Blackberry 9700 coming from a pearl
