I have a 9700 on internet texter 500 from 3UK. I pay for my Blackberry service, but they are saying that i need to buy an addon to tether...
my (nooby) question is - if i tether using the Blackberry desktop software, would the allowance come from my blackberry allowance? (currently 2 gig) or are 3 gonna get arsey? I know therye just trying to sell more of their "one plan"

i get 1 gig with my plan at the mo, so i'd need to change plan - 3 usually so good but in this case - suck
If you have BIS, it should work. Just do a test for one page load. Check the online bill for any charges. If there's none after another week if it hasn't updated, you're good. I did this with telus only to find I never got zonked.
