Finally, don't forget to add $10 to the monthly bill for your Bold purchase (if you are using an Edge Blackberry, like the Curve or 88XX); AT&T charges extra for 3G and it is NOT something you can opt out of.

How is the battery life going to be on these ATT models? Any better than the previous Bold versions? I figured this was one of the reasons the Bold was delayed.

Well, I called my store and they said it was originally supposed to be launched on the 27th, but now the definite date is Nov 4th with a price of $299 after MIR. The full MSRP price is not known at this time. I'm guessing $550 - $600

I have an iPhone 1st gen and my bill is $59.99 + taxes. I have the 450/5,000 and the iPhone data package for $20.00. I have been told if I got the iPhone 3G it would then be $30 because of the 3G. I guess this is the same price as the Bold data so they would be the same.

Well nice, now what I'm supposed to do on the 4th. Bought an unlocked Bold a week ago and early voted today, lol. I'll probably sell my unlocked one though and get the AT&T one anyways. I've been with them for about 15 years and am not going anywhere.

I have a Blackjack I that I got before my iPhone and it is 3G. It always ran very well considering where I live. Never more than 2 bars on it or my Aircard for my laptop out here but still pretty fast. I have been with ATT since I got my first cellphone so I don't know anything about any other carrier.

Good point Scott. $100 MIR would be alot. The most I've seen for a rebate is maybe $50 and usuals are $25.
