Well I have never owned a Blackberry before, so the BB 9000 will be my first. I am dumping my 16gig 2G iPhone for this strange new world of Blackberry...LOL

Hey does anyone know if there is an aftermarket way to download software to my new Bold so that I can use it to run my laptop off my data plan and screw AT&T out of paying for the extra service?

I don't mind paying my cell phone bill but it pisses me off that AT&T wants an extra $60 a month for a tethering service.

If you use your BB to get your laptop online does it work as good as an aircard with it's own service?

Any help would be nice....

where does it say? i thought vietalogy said the best buy person will say they will be getting it next week which is the the 27th. Best buy cannot have the phone before at&t stores so i doubt it will be november.

nope.....your bill will be prorated based on the number of days you have service.

i would assume at this point in time that the november release dates are all bogus....if AT&T will have the phone before best buy then we should hopefully see the phone this week

I have never wanted a phone as bad as this one.....This is nuts, lol. I'm going with my boyfriend to the Att store tomorrow since his 8700 isn't doing it for him anymore. He doesn't want the bold, so he's just going to get the curve. I keep telling him though that as soon as I get the Bold, he'll want one.
