Just noticed this, not trying to kill anyone's buzz, but on the BGR site, even though it says 10/27 notice there is no price, then notice all the other phones have pricing, then notice that the other ones say "ETA" while the bold says "latest ETA".

Yeah, that's a little unpromising to me. I wouldn't hold my breath until you see it and hear it from AT&T.

I did not take "latest" to mean that, I took "latest" to mean "most current ETA" not the latest it could possibly release. There isn't even any pricing for it on that sheet.

I was leaning more towards that being the "most current tentative ETA given we can't find anything to wench about this time around, if so, it'll just be delayed again"

When it comes to AT&T, BGR has lost their credibility w/ me. They are wrong quite frequently lately. They post anything and everything that will give their website hits.

The first time I read that email, I took it to mean that the "most recently rumored" ETA, but I sure hope it means it's the "latest possible" ETA.

I hope it's right for all the people that have been waiting. It's an awesome device. If it makes anyone feel any better, I think it's definitely worth the wait.

man this is killing me my wife's razr took a crap and she wants a curve and we are up for upgrade but im still kicking the idea of just getting the curve for my self also or just wait and see what this pans out ? the curve is still a great phone but what about the 8320 or 8330 ? is that even a option for att ?

8320 isnt out yet for AT&T as of yet and 8330 is for verizon...give it til the 27th

I am so hoping that it is out within the next week. It seems like we have been waiting for this for years. I am so wanting to be a true Crackberry and put the iPhone away with the Blackjack to use as a spare. I have been searching for the right case, etc but I am almost afraid to buy anything and have them say "Sorry it was all a joke. There is really no Bold." I will wait till I get it in my hot hands to buy some goodies....also need to know the price I will have to put out for it. Everyone keep your fingers crossed and maybe keep some good thoughts.

okay i read the much anticipated article on boy genius. But how is that possible? The best buy rumored release date is oct 26. The ATT date is now rumored to be oct 27. It doesn't make sense to me at all. Doesn't best buy have to wait a few weeks for the exclusive carrier carries it for a while. I am clueless now.

Also is it true that the new Magnum will not have Wifi?

The best buy date Is not always correct. At the best buy I work at, street dates aren't always correct if it is delayed. It will not come to best buy before att.

i really hope they do have it monday. even though the 27th is only 1 more week, monday would be much better. also, has anybody heard any news about the technical acceptance, or what the contract price will be?

I am getting so excited thinking that by this time next week I might have my new toy! I think I will go to my AT&T store tomorrow and make sure that my guy knows to hold a Bold back for me and give me a call as soon as they hit the store. Hopefully that day will be Monday, Oct. 20, 2008. Make us happy AT&T.
