This is straight from a college friend and very credible source. His father works for AT&T as a corporate manager and personally asked his father to ask even higher management to confirm this.
If this is correct, which I'm confident that it is, we will see the Bold come out from AT&T Oct 24
Well, Shhh.....I was watching an old rerun of the Andy Griffin Show when Andy told Deputy Barney Fife not to tell anyone that the BOLD would be released sometime between now and January.
Honestly no sale reps knows. They said from the 13th -16th. Then they said the last possible date it could come out is Nov 2. But should it be released before Oct 30. It will be real buggy because they havent completed updating the network. The scheduled completion date is Oct 30. Funny thing is that, since June, OFFICIAL AT&T internal papers said the bold was scheduled for testing all the way in October.
Another release thread. Yay! I will not bore you all with what my dog said about when the Bold is coming out. He also told me some other things, but I think he is just trying to get rid of me.
Who said anything about a sales rep? Reread OP. This is a corporate manager. Their ridicule is not liking a pushed back date. This is a viable source (how do you think CB and BoyG get their information? They're mamma?). This is something I can trust because its a high up corporate manager of at&t. Spent the time to share it with you guys n u act like **** offs

Indeed, thanks for share, yet everyone is jaded by the sheer number of release threads. There are far too many on CB. The Bold will be out when it is out. Chillax a little. There is no need to swear.
The point is, there are dime a dozen threads on these phantom release dates with their "trusted, viable" sources with much higher up than a corporate manager. Its pointless to make these threads which will only get you flamed. At this point, unless it comes straight from ATT itself, no one will believe it.
Wasn't a swear, it was "j3rk". Anyway, its very possible this date is pushed back as well. I believe most release dates are accurate. They are just internally pushed back within ATT

the reason they turn into useless threads are because people will speculate everything, just because your dad works for AT&T(no disrespect), no one in the retail side knows..that means SSR,RSC,ASM,SM,ARSM,DOS..so on and so forth
