I've been looking for an answer to my question online before I came to post here. Does anyone know if AT&T supports BB OS 5.0?

The Bold 9700 has OS 5 so I would assume so.

If you explain the issues you are having I am sure someone can help you.

I'll try again when I get home, and if it doesn't work, I'll post more details.

The device you have listed is the Bold 9000. Currently, AT&T hasn't released 5.0 for that particular model. Now, you can download 5.0 for the 9000, you'll just have to download a different carrier's official release, you can find a link to the OS in the sticky at the top of the Bold 9000 forum, there should be some instructions on how to load the OS in there as well. Here's the link:

I loaded this one on my buddy's AT&T 9000, and it works like a charm.

Here's a breakdown of the process to load the OS onto your device.

And of course we're here if you need any help...

You're very welcome, I don't understand why ATT released a different version of 4.6 with the last update to the 9000, when 5.0 had been available for that device for quite some time...

    Good luck!
