    It seems as if those lovely now almost yearly launch parties are going to start happening pretty soon.



    T-Mobile has started sending out various invites to corporate customers (we�ve been sent two completely different-looking invites from two different connects) all describing a mythical new BlackBerry with Wi-Fi-enabled calling. Whatever could it be? The events we�re hearing about are on November 5th in NYC and we�ve been told that people attending will be taking home brand new BlackBerry 9700s. And they get breakfast, but no one cares about that.

    UPDATE: We�ve told the Los Angeles market launch event is on November 3rd.

    Didn't they do something similar for the 8900 when it launched...and if memory serves, I believe they did a drawing and gave away 3 phones (as opposed to everyone getting one).

    They are doing on here in ATL also. I think that it is on the 5th on November.

    They were so generous when the 8320 released on tmo, everyone who attended the launch party got a free one, doubt they are gonna be that generous this time around since tmo, like all carriers, is somewhat broke..though im definitely gonna try to get my boss to get me an invite, hope to god they give out a free one to all attendees

    Supposedly they are giving out phones at these events too.
